The Treasure of Lemon Brown

What I found interesting in The Treasure of Lemon Brown is the response and thoughts that Greg had. He started off as a kid who ignored much of his father's work. Greg didn't really care of what his father had to say about his everyday job and his past. Until he met Sweet Lemon Brown is when he changed his mind. Greg finally realized how all of his father's work was for Greg. He wanted his son to succeed in life and look up to him so he can somebody to lean on. This story connects to homelessness because Lemon Brown isn't just a homeless man. Nobody on earth is homeless unless you get to know them. There are a lot of stereotypes on homeless people and some homeless people you just have to get to know. 'Don't judge a book by its cover' remember that saying? We shouldn't judge homeless people by their appearance because we don't know what they've been through. We don't know the struggles they had to go through like Lemon Brown did. He lost his son in war and his wife died. Not only did Lemon Brown give advice to Greg, but he gave it to himself as well because he realized he still had hope.
