Time Capsule Blog - Quarter 3 Blog 1

Over the cold winter days that we had to stay in, I read an article about a time capsule that I found on Newsela. The time capsule that I read about was found recently, on December 14th, and was dating back to 1795! The owners of this time capsule was said to be Samuel Adams and Paul Revere. It was found in the Massachusetts State Building in the corner of the building thanks to a leak. Inside the capsule, there is an engraved silver plate, coins dating from 1652 to 1855, and an old Massachusetts Colony Record Newspaper. It is said to be the oldest time capsule the United States has witnessed at 219 years old. This is the SECOND time capsule Massachusetts has seen in 2014 as they found another in the Old State Building three months earlier. I feel like time capsules are something us as a united earth should make more so that our children, and our children's grandchildren could see how we lived wether in wealth, poverty, or even just right in the middle of everybody.
